Real Pastrami

Post by harryc » Wed Jul 12, 2017 4:25 pm

Anyone ever been to Katz's Deli in NYC and had real pastrami that might say something close to it available in Helsinki or even Finland?

Lidl is presently selling some totally phony stuff that is some kind of 'pressed/processed' mystery meat.

There is a place in Lauttasaari - Kaizun Bistro - that is selling some whole meat pastrami but just doesn't taste right IMO.

The Germans sold something labeled 'Pastrami' here in Finland some years ago (still?) - the brand began with a 'K' - but it was a waste of time, money and 'opportunity.'

Seems like Finland is just one scandal after the other nowadays.

Maybe it's Brussels' fault.
As he persisted, I was obliged to tootle him gently at first and then, seeing no improvement, to trumpet him vigorously with my horn.

Pray tell - what's wromg with liking good pastrami and bagels - and being annoyed at the terms being ripped off in Finland?

Please start a more detailed thread about whether collar supports should be called 'bones' or 'stays' or some other exciting term.

Or how about letting people write about what happens to interest them at a particular moment - and keeping this an OPEN forum?
