What affordable dental services can I find in helsinki?

Post by ryanmcmillan » Wed Sep 13, 2017 8:42 pm

I am student from Asia. I got some cavities and a sensitive tooth. I visited a dentist at a public clinic. She gave me a temporary filling and said that I may need a tooth removed because it's too skewed and would continue to create cavities. She told me to make an appointment, but the only date available is 3 months from now.

Before she fixed other cavities and problems, she told me to leave(?!). I don't even know how much the procedure cost, since the bill hasn't arrived yet. I am thinking about visiting another dental clinic. But the prices seem to be very vague. Do you have any suggestion where I should go? What kind of discount can I expect? Thank you in advance.

I haven't used this place but it got some good reviews here and there.

Price list :

If you're in pain you can always contact emergency dentist. You have to do it EARLY though. This is public health too.

Hope this helps!

It is common to wait a couple months for an appointment. I used to get in locally in a month but we've had a ton of people move here and now the waiting time is almost 6 months!

There was this http://www.hymylaakaritt.fi/ on Mannerheimentie, I've used for small issues, and found them to be well-priced, and very good service.

When one books an appointment it is for a particular problem - and usually set at 20 minutes.

You clearly used up your time.
