Is Opintotuki counted as income in Asumistuki calculation?

Hello,

Is Opintotuki (Study grant) of Kela considered as income when doing the income check for Yleinen asumistuki (General Housing Allowance).

In my case it (Study grant) has been added with the salary income:

Salary+ Study grant (Kela)

But the Kela webpage says that:

''The study grant does not count as income for purpose of the financial aid income check.''

As far as I understand, they mean with financial aid check, the check for income support and not general housing allowance.
i.e. general housing allowance is not financial support / income support.

But as my record here has proven me wrong on other occasions too, wait for others to clarify (the legal specialists here).

I found it on the same kela page:

this will give you a list where there is no opintotuki mentioned so yes it needs to be calculated. The study grant is a grant for living support, only your student loan is not included in the calculation.

On another page of Kela:

It clearly states in this list that "study grant and adult education allowance" count as income, so there is your answer.
