'Outer Space' English
Re: 'Outer Space' English
Agreed!
I have no idea why someone started to go down the avenue of a personal attack.
This an open forum - and if a discussion is not interesting for someone - then you just don't read or reply - and there is also an 'ignore' feature.
There is no place here for personal abuse - and when it gets uncivilized and includes crass language (direct or implied) - the moderators step in - hopefully.

Chaucer wrote around 1400 AD in Middle English.
If you think that Chaucer wrote Beowulf, you have serious problems.
Re: 'Outer Space' English
Was not referring to the 'Middle English' of Chaucer - and certainly not to the 'Old English' Beowulf of MANY centuries before that - the best part of a 'millenium,' in fact.
And surely not to Ethelberht's code of the 7th century.
