Where to giveaway Books (IT)?

I have some IT books (Java programming) which I don't need anymore. Where can I give them away? Maybe some library?

Couldn't hurt to Google your local libraries, both city-run and university-run. Ask them if they're interested. Even if they don't want to shelve your books, they could well add them to their own free-for-the-taking book piles. Otherwise, contact your local recycling center (kierrätyskeskus). They sell all kinds of second-hand things, including books.

I don´t know if all libraries have it the same way, but at least the library in Rikhardinkatu (Hki) has a whole bookshelf where you can leave books you don´t want and take some you like.

In many libraries, I have seen a shelf where you can put give away stuff like book or folders etc.
