Replace damaged driving license from abroad.

How does one replace a Finnish driving licence after they have moved abroad? The card is just physically damaged, not interested in exchange for a licence in the country I'm living in at the moment as the licence is valid till 2048. I am not registered to any address in Finland but have some addresses I could get it posted to.

I'm fairly certain you cannot get a replacement delivered to you abroad, Trafi has an online service (https://asiointi.trafi.fi/en/henkiloasi ... een-tilaus ), but it's for mainland Finland only, otherwise you will have to visit one of their service points in person. As an added "bonus", replacing a driver's license (even the card itself) that was granted before 2013 will also shorten its validity period, as newer permits need to be renewed every 15 years.

Thanks for that, seems I should just try to look after it until 15 years before it´s out of date (2033), then renew it and it will still be valid till I´m 70. :D
