Work in Oulu

I am currently in oulu on a short term basis but have the opportunity to come back long term. If i do my partner will return with me, does anybody know how hard it is for an english speaking person (and no finnish) to get any sort of job in oulu?

Unless he is educated, preferably in the IT or biotechnology sector... it can be very hard...but there are a few management/international sales jobs going in english recently...I remember seeing one at PKC group.

I guess that finding a job is quite hard for everybody in Oulu, companies have reduced head-count in general, but it depends on the tasks you are willing or able to do, there are quite many international companies (English as group language) in Oulu area, so maybe you could contact potential companies, just to check the possibilities.
