You could advertise in a supermarket (they have noticeboards for small ads) for example in WestEnd or Haukilahti, places where there is a high concentration of high-income earners who would be more likely to use a housekeeper. But if you do a great job at your current family's house then word will soon get around and you will get some more offers. :D

By the way guys, we are having a new roof on our house (there is only a sheet of plastic protecting us from the torrential rain today :? ) and there were half a dozen guys up there on Friday and none of them spoke Finnish. Not brainwork, just muscle-power ripping all the old stuff off and chucking it into a massive bin. And I'm pretty sure SOL is employing a huge number of non-Finns.

Might..but you have a better option to catch the ones who dont read English well ( they might speak well) with a Finnish translation.'
Generally, I ve seen some ads like these in all 3 languages.

Then again, if ad is only in english you are unlikely to get clients who do not understand english.

Point I am trying to make is, there is certain sense also in keeping ads only in languages you are proficient with.

If cleaner does not speak finnish and granny who wants to hire this cleaner only speaks finnish... There are some "small" problems setting up agreement. You can only do so much with handwaving.
