Hello there,
I'll be in Helsinki at least from the 2nd of january to the 31st of may studying economics. I'm looking for a 20% - 40% part-time job in Helsinki. I'm also learning Finnish very fast.
Fabian
I'm Swiss, speak German, English and French perfectly.

sure... yet it has always to be viewed with a relative approach... sure english, being actually the least difficult language european-wide, is no comparison. But given that i haven't even moved to finland yet, i can already say and write many things, know most of the cases (yet the verb-dependancy of cases is sth. that necessarily has to be practised!), tempora and the like.
i'm also highly motivated as i plan on moving there for good within the next 1-2 years. fed up with switzerland!

You could also check http://www.saksalaiset.de for more info about Finland. Unfortunately I can not help you finding a job in Helsinki but any valuable information should alreay be available in this forum, I guess. Nothing new under the sun. Be ready to accept any kind of job to begin with, so you get into the system and learn how things are done here and you would learn how not to "behave like a foreigner" (what would scare off most potential employers...) That is the way I made it, starting with 2-3€/h besides my studies back in 2003, by now having a pleasent job with a decent income
