job during pregent

Hi Friens

I want to know information abt job during pregent.we are planning for kid and affried that may be i can loose job if i will be pregent becoz already layoffs started in my company.
Is that any rule in Finland that once if I am pregent then they cant remove ?
Plzz help me.

they cannot fire you because you are pregnant.
they can however fire you due to economic circumstances.
and by being pregnant you might end up higher on the list to get booted.

When you are on "Maternity" leave, you are not paid by the employer..so Its OK: BUT
When you go back from maternity, They don't necessarily need to give you the same job But any other job that they like....or release you because of economic circumstances.
