Then someone else is earning and there will not be a language course dropout.

You can influence the amount yourself by joining a unemployment fund (such as: http://www.ytk.fi/en/ ), if you are not already. You need to be enrolled for at least 10 months before getting unemployed to benefit.
Yeah I'm in that. I meant after that runs out and you're still unemployed how much do you get?
You get, depending your spouses income, something between 0e to bit over 400e/mo.

Official rephrasing of the same:
http://www.kela.fi/in/internet/english. ... enDocument
Labour Market Subsidy is EUR 25.63 per day and it is paid for 5 days per week. It is increased for children under 18 who live in the same household as the recipient. The increase is

* EUR 4.86 per day for one child
* EUR 7.13 per day for two children and
* EUR 9.19 per day for three children or more.

Without child increase the amount of the Labour Market Subsidy is on average EUR 551 per month (21,5 x 25.63).

Labour Market Subsidy is taxable income subject to a 20 percent withholding rate. Alternatively, you can acquire a revised tax card for the receipt of social security benefits with a different withholding rate.

The Labour Market Subsidy is a means-tested benefit. This means that any other income you, your spouse or - if you live in the same household - your parents may have decrease the amount of the subsidy.
