Quick googling with "copyn palkka" seems to indicate anything between 1,5-10k/month. Seems to depend quite much what said copy does and how well it is done and where it is done...

But answer to your first question is: a lot. To the second, I don't know and won't even hazard a guess.

What sort of copy? Specialist vocabulary? How much self-study/research would be involved? What industry? Working from a template? It's a market with a lot of freelancers and independent contractors, and your price depends on a lot of things. Usually there's some sort of negotiation involved, and often the larger companies will already have a set rate for third-party contractors. It's best to contact them and find out.

To get 10k you would have to be a real star with great reputation, something like Markku Rönkkö. Ad agencies pay less nowadays than they did 5 years ago. In many agencies people have been laid off and the remaining ones salaries have been cut. That has been a trend during the past year. Freelancers are not doing so great either. Of course there are exceptions but the scene looks even more bleak than it did during the last recession.

The pay really depends on your skills and experience and reputation.

Coming from a related field (and having worked in a coordinator's position), I can tell you that there can be massive differences in what gets paid to freelancers/independent TMIs, sometimes as much as 70% less for one than for another, mostly based on experience, reputation and quality of work. There are no guarantees.

BTW when I was still looking for copy jobs I said how much I want only when I made it to the interview.
