I'm having the next situation: I took 2 weeks off for Easter which were not part of my Talviloma, just days off (henkilökohtainen, for which I don't get any salary). During that period there are 2 official holiday days: Pitkäperjantai and Pääsiäispäivä. Is it possible that I don't get paid for those 2 days if I was off.
I forgot to mention that I get paid per hours. Meaning that if one day I don't work, I get 0€ for that day = day off. I've been told about the next situation, according to the law, which happens very often: somebody is enjoying summer holidays (kesäloma ex. 24 working days). Juhannus is within that period. This day doesn't take 1 day from your holidays. That means that you get paid for this extra holiday day: 24 days + Juhannus. Otherwise you are losing one holiday day pay.
So, here is my question: Is the situation the same if I'm just off, instead of on official (paid) holidays?
