Exploitation of foreing workforce

Hi everyone,

I have a question: do/did anyone suffer from it?
I work as a maid in a hotel and the boss expect that I work at least 1.5-2 extra hours without any payment. Today complainde about it and said that I won't work more than my wotking hours according to the work contract and they became totally angry, and I really afraid of firing. But that is completely against the law, nobody can't be forced wirking for free.
If you have been to a similar situation what did you do? Is it worth to make a complaint at the competent authority?

If you are not yet member of an union, do it today, I think it is PAM for hotels etc. :

They should help you in these cases.

Yep its a huge sh*t sandwich that all foreigners without a union need to put up with.

I take it you work as a maid for one of the big hotel chains in finland ? If so go over the head of the head house keeper and speak to the hotel manager .
