Starting a Business in Finland

Post by LuisFer » Thu Sep 18, 2014 1:04 pm

Many friends have asked me over the years why it can be so difficult to get a job as a new immigrant to Finland. I have been meaning to write a few lines on how much of a better alternative starting your own company can be, and finally have managed to get around to it.

If you're considering starting a company, feel free to have a read!

Thanx for giving information to all.
Which company will be good to start for example? If i want to start my IT company as i can do some repair and installation of computer software. OR second option is that
to start the cleaning company. But for it how many clients should be in both cases?

My first instinct would be to benchmark your expertise with what is available out there already. If you go into IT, there are many 'experts' out there and you might find a lot of competition. I would think that if you create a cleaning services company with a solid concept and an original business model, there could be a lot of potential.

try digging up some information on the different sectors from the statistics finland website. Here is a link to their English page - http://www.stat.fi/index_en.html
