First residence permit based on employment

I have applied for my first residence permit based on employment (contract without end date) after receiving a degree from a Finnish university. In case the residence permit is granted, what could be the duration for which I would get one?

Section 55 of the Aliens Act says that the rules for the first permit apply when changing B to A permit with a new reason. Thus, you will get the first permit for one year.
