A private trader has got a job with moderate salary, but the employment will last, for example, only 2 years. After that, he does not know whether the emploment can be renewed. So this can be seen as only a temporary job. But he cannot do his business if he accept the offer.
1. Can he keep his private trader registration, but without doing any business?
2. Can he still pay insurance (if he like to do so) so that he can accumulate more pension for retirement?
3. Does he need to report tax return for his non-operation business?
Thank you in advance!

From government perspective yes. You would just report no activity to the government. However, there might be competition employment aspects with your employer.dreamstep wrote: 1. Can he keep his private trader registration, but without doing any business?

However, you should consider whether saving the money yourself is a better investment (it probably is).
Yes because keeping the registration means the business is operational from tax perspective.dreamstep wrote: 3. Does he need to report tax return for his non-operation business?

No because YEL is only mandatory with work income over 7 557,18 euros.dreamstep wrote:If he stop paying the YEL insurance, must he terminate the business register?
