Job search

Post by ccates » Sat Dec 03, 2016 12:57 pm

Hi everyone! I'm a dual citizenship (peruvian and Americanot by birth) I am a Spanish teacher in the United States and hold a Masters degree in Spanish linguistics. Is Spanish taught in Finland? Are there full time job opportunities for this? If so, what's a good website to search for education jobs?
Thanks in advance!

Your job chances are none and Buckley's. Not many people even want to learn Spanish here to begin with, most learn English, German and Russian, and we already have a bajillion Finns qualified to teach these three languages (sadly being a native speaker is not considered a big advantage).

Your master's would be an advantage, because education is highly prized here, but unfortunately you lack the two things most needed, as anonfinn noted. You might look into South Korea and Japan for teaching English.
