Hello,

I have been issued with a residence permit for seeking work in Finland after graduating from Finnish university. I wanted to know upon finding a job can I start working immediately based on this residence permit and when my residence permit is about to expire, I can apply for extension based on the job contract.

Check the section 81a on the 2010 translation of aliens Act, that is basically what 80 § 4m says.
