Hi everyone
We are a danish startup that a consider moving our business to Finland (Helsinki) too. However that would require that we hired some students to help us out. Before we do so we need to find out which salary level they would be on. Here in Denmark they are paid the same as people in the supermarket or behind the counter in the local coffeehouse. It would be hourly based, but the total amount would be around 10 hours a week. How much would a person mentioned above be paid? Anyone knows or any place I could find the answer, I have tried Google however really different answers are coming up.

Depends on the sector you'll be. If IT, then check the collective agreement at tietoala.fi/tes/sakurasanta86 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 24, 2018 5:30 amHi everyone

While it is ok to pay below the recommendation, paying below collective agreement will result a court case.inkku wrote: ↑Tue Apr 24, 2018 3:41 pmTrade union keep tables of recommended salaries for students in that professional area, it is based on study years. if you mention which sector you are interested, for students of engineering (applied sciences) https://www.ilry.fi/tietoa-insinoorilii ... s-students
