Newbie saying hi :)

Post by Dankku » Thu Jan 08, 2004 12:41 pm

As there seems to be no dedicated welcome forum, I'll just open a topic here to say hi to you all :)

Interesting to see a board like this - been in Finland for like 3 years now and this is the first time I've seen this place. Looks pretty good so far :)

Cya,

Dankku

Aye aye Dankku

Welcome to the group!

I'm a Welshman, but been around a bit, and in Finland on and off for about 9 years...

Saw the Soltaire flying there. Where abouts? Lived in Cawdor, near Inverness for 4 years or so myself...

Cheers
Gavin

Dyslexia, you know...

I've seen a couple of vairiatons on the badger thing on http://www.b3ta.com

I was looking for the deleted LOTR badger scenes, but I don't have the inclination to look to hard for them.

So what's an Ayrshire lad doing in Helsinki. Not another IT specialist?

Well, with a second name like Cruickshank, you should expect a few ancestoral ties to Scotland (apart from that, as you know, we all just despise the English  )

That link just took me back to the main page. Have another dram, and try again boyo

Erm, well, my parents are English, so I can't really despise the English. Coz then i'd have to despise my parents too.

...oh, hold on, that makes sense actually. Let's all despise the English then, sassenachs!
