Hi everyone,

I am seeking some advice about how to make an opening speach like when you want to call an employer and talk about a job advertised in the newspaper...what should I say in Finnish for instance when I want to say " I'm calling you/to apply /regarding/in realtion to that possition advertised in the newspaper/net?

Could you also suggest some usefull Finnish websites that I can find examples about how to write cover letters/applications in Finnish?

Thanks Hank. I can speak and write quite acceptable Finnish...but then my major problem is that when it comes speaking to the employers I really get stuck and can't get the starting speach.

Well, stage fright is quite usual Maybe you can find some friends you can "experiment" doing an interview?
