Wow! I'm not the only socialist pig in Finland! :) I'll definitely try to come as even though I don't really believe in the illusion of democracy in the US anymore, I can certainly still vote and hope.findemsabroad wrote:Democrats Abroad is having another meeting on February 19. Thanks for posting that as I'm sure that fortress America down on embassy row wouldn't put that information in their periodical terrorist alert level email.

Damn right they've "fixed" the voting machines in Florida, and lots of other places too! Electronic voting machines have been shown NOT to be secure, and it is no problem at all for the voting machine manufactures (big Republican donors) to dial in and switch the vote counts to whatever they want.dpieber wrote:So you mean they've fixed the voting machines in Florida?findemsabroad wrote:every vote counts!
The Democracts aren't going to win this one, unless it's by such a huge margin that the Republicans can't hide the cheating (and the electronic cheating is pretty easy to hide).
Didn’t Robert Mugabe already suggested that when an US official complained about the presidential "elections" in Zimbabwe?Ian wrote:What's the likelyhood that the UN are going to send in election monitors in to the US to ensure free and fair elections? I would say there is plenty of justification for it!!
