The cultures of all countries - unite!

October 1st at 17.00 Happi Youth Centre (Sörnäisten rantatie 31, Helsinki, ground floor) opens an unique place - a multi-cultural café. Coffee, cakes, exciting conversations - and this is only the beginning! In cozy cafe room you can participate in art workshops, various competitions, join interest clubs and have fun at discos and festivals. This place is a massive point for rapprochement of different cultures and language groups and it is located almost in the middle of Helsinki. Program and the menu varies daily, but fresh coffee and cake is always available.

It is said that shared thing brings together.

How would you feel about making a huge painting along with others, or creating your own comics? What about the music festival? Or the real drama theater? Perhaps you already have a good idea in your mind, we offer the opportunity to make it real with other interested people. You are also welcome to meet friends, the old and new ones or just to read magazines and newspapers in our café.

These days, communication problems between different cultural and religious groups are strongly presented. The result is that sometimes, we just don’t understand each other, and it’s not always the language barrier. We, the people from different countries and local residents need only the opportunity to meet and get to know each other. The living room of the Happi café offers this opportunity in relaxing and warm atmosphere.
