What is the Finnish for:

I am going to the city to squander some cash.

So far I have:

Lähden kaupunkiin tuhlaamaan rahaa.

Unfortunately I do not know any Finnish slang terms for 'money'. Any help?

If we want to go one step further, lossi = cable ferry, väristää = to shiver (transitive)

"I'll go to the cable ferry to shiver the priest." Excellent.

Haa ... "to go flutter the paper" thats a good one. Though wile were learning stuff, the idiom is there, lossi = manor house or "castle" in Estonia (schloss) , a "linn" is a city (in Finnish linna is a castle) ... to "go to the manor" is the equivalent to the Finns "mennä kirkolle", because in Finland, the court was held at the church and not at the manor

Even funnier is though - on the ferries it reads I think kaubamaja had adverts "miks raiskata oma raha"
In Finnish that is "Why rape your own money"

Etymology apparently is, "to make worthless", but in Estonian thats a common termn why in Finland its a specific term only for rape.
In Finnish, you would use maybe "hukata" for "loosing" money. But in Estonia someone can hukkus, and they die, and in Finnish, thats specifically loosing yourself under water, as in drowning. So for a Finn reading Öhtuleht, in a traffic accident in Estonia, people drown.
