Translation question

was wondering if anyone knew the following word's meaning and how to pronounce it. "Ajattara"

also heard a Song I liked. I have tried my best to translate it, and was wondering how close I was.

"Ajattara" no such word.
Ajattaa means direction for a driver i.e instruction to a taxi driver.
Ajatar is the name of a ladies clothes shop in Forum.

Just thought of another use of ajattaa..ajattaa parta= to have a shave

are you sure that it isn't ohjata that means "direction"?

Ajattara either doesn't mean anything, or is some obscure old feminene deity.

To pronounce it - what is the problem there? Every Finnish word is pronounced the same way.

a- jat -ta -ra

á-jattara (stress on the first as always)

jattara as 'jakkara' (a stool)
