was wondering if anyone knew the following word's meaning and how to pronounce it. "Ajattara"
also heard a Song I liked. I have tried my best to translate it, and was wondering how close I was.
Thanks for any help.
Rauhassa
On verensä kylmä sen
Tämä suru
Keskellä ruumiiden
Katsoo kun taivas kuolee
Tämä elämä
Sateessa kyynnelten
Rauhassa
Unessa
Alla paljaan
Hyljätyn maan
Tuskin kauaa
Lihansa vanki
Kohtaa tyhjyys autuuden
Silmiin katsoo
Kuoleman lintu
Teljettynä
Keskellä varjojen
In Peace
cold is it's blood
this sorrow
in the middle of corpses
looks the dying heaven
this life
in the rain of tears
in peace
asleep
under the pale
forlorn ground
hardly long time
prison of his flesh
emptiness meet the salvation
looked to the eyes
by the bird of death
cooped up
in the middle of shadows

Ajattara either doesn't mean anything, or is some obscure old feminene deity.
To pronounce it - what is the problem there? Every Finnish word is pronounced the same way.
a- jat -ta -ra
á-jattara (stress on the first as always)
jattara as 'jakkara' (a stool)
