2. Mikä is pronoun in the nominativ
mitä is pronoun in the partitive
But, you can't use this grammatical explanation so well.

I guess it is best and also fastest, when you learn many phrases by heart.

Roughly speaking (if subject of a verb):

mikä = which (+ discrete entity noun)
mitä = what (+ non-discrete stuff noun)

And as pronouns the English is what for both.

Minä sinä pdät minua? = What do you take me for? (if my English is correct)

A literal translation of the Finnish question would be "As what do you regard me?"
