Ok... you need to remember that if you go to a shop in India you won't easily find karjalanpiirakka or näkkäri there :) There is a kind of "tuorejuusto" made in these parts of the world but most probably it's not similar to what you're looking for... so my advice would be to try the "ethnic" foodstores near you (if you live in or around Helsinki, the Hämeentie Indian stores).

The Finnish names for those products are translations - think of "penguin -> pingviini" - just because there's a Finnish name for it, doesn't mean a penguin could be found at your doorstep, crouching in the snow :)

Hei!

Yes, you can definitely get besan flour and probably some kind of fresh cheese - you can also try using ricotta cheese, which is a fresh cheese which you can get from K-market.

If you want to find the indian stores/ethnic stores in Hämeentie, here is a list with all the addresses and opening hours and so forth.

You can also ask for the products in English...Hindi...at these stores!

Hyvää ruokahalua!
