Learn Finnish / Teach English

Post by Thefrank » Fri Aug 13, 2004 7:08 pm

I am 45 year old happily single Finnish male and my English is very much "self made", that's why I need some practise.

If you want to learn / practise your Finnish, perhaps you can teach me /practise my english.

I live in Helsinki.

I teach English to 8th grade students. I would be happy to help.

I am of Finnish descent and would like to learn to speak a little. I can count to 10 and know a few words. My parents and grandparents spoke fluent Finnish but they are all gone. My cousin and I are currently studying our family history and are learning about Lohtaja where they emmigrated to Northern Michigan in the USA. I don't know where to start. Any suggestions ?
