If I gave you a video film I could say "Katso tämä!". If I gave you a photograph I could not say "Katso tämä!", I would have to say "Katso tätä!" Do you know why?

Katso tämä elokuva!

Katso tätä valokuvaa! ( Why not "Katso tämä valokuva!"? )

What is the difference between the sentences "Katso tämä mies!" and "Katso tätä miestä!" Alloydog has not answered. What do you say?

PS. The answer that I have is a little surprising , some might even call it stupid and some might call ME stupid.

Not a bad guess but it was not correct.

"Katso tämä mies!" is a grammatically incorrect sentence. ( "Look this man!" )

"Katso tätä miestä!" is a grammatically correct sentence. ( "Look at this man!" )

That was the difference.

What do you say? I told you that my question was misleading!

That's a grammatically incorrect sentence in English too. "Watch this man!" is not.

I agree, I tried to translate the incorrect sentence "Katso tämä mies!" into English and "Look this man!" was the closest I could get. In other words:
I tried to translate the mistake in the Finnish sentence into English.
