e-mail of the kesäyliopisto????

Post by Papu » Sat Nov 27, 2004 6:15 pm

Hi!

I´ve been trying to figure out a way how to contact the kesäyliopisto (summer university) by e-mail...

The only have the phone-numbers and fax-numbers on their web-site (http://www.kesayliopistohki.fi), which is pretty weird.

Any ideas?

Kiitos

There are several summer universities in Finland, so first thing, I guess is to decide which one.

Anyway, Google is your friend.

Google on kesäyliopisto email and you will see plenty of email addresses for the summer universities

If you add 'Helsinki' to the search terms above, you will find the answer to your question. Google is still your friend.

Is Google very hard to use in Austria?

google is actually not that hard to use (although if you try it in "Bork-Bork-Bork" it gets annoying ;-) http://www.google.com/intl/xx-bork/

Thanks, I got the homepage, but I couldn´t find an e-mail adress....
Only telephone and FAX-numbers.....

Well, if you have the home page of the correct institution and they do not publish an email address, I guess they do not choose to use that form. Perhaps a fax, phone call or letter might be appropriate?

If you have the contact information for anyone then the addres will be inthe form:
etunimi.sukunimi@kesayliopistohki
ie firstname.lastname@kesayliopistohki

But as they do not want initial contact made in this manner, you will have to do the work...

Great, thanks!

I tried info@... and got the mail back ... and being that I´m trying to do a finnish-course I´m still not the best at speaking on the phone... I tried calling once and made some sihteeri feel pretty uncomfortable by speaking english...

Thanks for the hint!

Usually they don't publish any email addresses at websites any more because they get spammed to hell by ten stupid americans that should be made to come live in finland for their crimes against humanity....

No, no , I am actually referring to these dudes:

And their lawyers as well... first thing I want them to encounter is a radar trap so we can get rid of the national debt. then they can be put to live in the forest with a 56K 'kellogs' (snap, crackle, pop) modem and spam each other for a few years.
Cheers, Hank W.
