I had a one year subscription and I found the paper pretty good. It was 20€ for a year with a new issue coming every second week.
It really depends on your level of Finnish language, I'd say have a look at the web pages, they have some of the articles (some with audio as well). I enjoyed having the paper version though, nicer to read and I could underline unknown words.

For me Selko was good training for reading real papers, so now I can also read Hesari, with some articles being more difficult then others. I had a free one week subscription and I just couldn't keep up with it, some days didn't even had the time to browse through them.
