Would you like to meet Finnish friends?

Where to buy? Where can I find? How do I? Getting started.

Yes Jämsä is really a small place. I was there a few times on my way to Jyväskylä. Hey, atleast you got us here :)

I would be your friend but I'm too far away..... I'm too far away from everybody, even my nearest shop is 30 mins drive, my nearest neighbour is 10, boo hoo hoo. I'm only 22, it just too much to be this far from the nearest pub.....

Can't figure out WTF you live, but can I guesstimate : serous case of HBS and "living with the parents" somewhere Nowheremäki... next thing you will ask where to get a job (answer is, with the guys from the village that moved to Sweden in the 1970's because there is no jobs in that village....)

I wouldn't mind volunteering for this. I quite often have lots of free time. I am half-Finnish, and move to Finland from England six years ago to do my national service. I also speak fluent Finnish, and am fairly well clued-up on many things Finnish.

Job......ha ha ha

Th only job I could get would be cleaning in a hotel room!!!!! I have a degree in Animal Welfare and Management (which is going to get me nowhere under normal circumstances), now I have to try and use this stupid qualification to get a job in a country when I don't even speak the language....... help me, I want to go home, I need a drink.........

I´m english, brought up in Spain (asi k me condidero malagueño), with an italian grandfather (sicilian actually), and I´m married to a finn and just moved here and need some mates...and a job...and a local bar where the beer is cold and cheap...and...

Colombian big football fan here! Don't mind which league, competition it is...just love the sport! Playing, or watching it.

So would be cool to get the football fans from the forum and hung out, go and watch some games with beer or something wouldn't it?

That would be cool, maybe we get together at some place in Helsinki that show the matches, if anyone has any ideas where it should be let us know, and we´ll watch the first games of the premier league and la liga there...c´mon everyone ;)
