Post by John_benny » Thu May 22, 2003 6:14 pm

Hi All,

I am an Indian completing my LL.M here in Helsinki University and I have been working in USA and Ireland and India(Total 5 +years as lawyer) before moving to Finland. Also I am very much familiar with Information Technology. So basically I am looking for some Associate Lawyer/Intern position with much emphasis on Technology/Biotech .I will be really thankful for any advise for that.

Regards

Benny

Donald teaches and I am not sure his finnish is that great ;-)

Sorry, the group doesnt have info on specific job openings, I am sure people will keep an eye out though.

Try surfing the web, phone directories, sending applications to hundreds of companies, see if law associations/unions can help, that is the normal way. Takes persistence but you get there in the end (so I am told!).

We don't need anybody teaching american-style law parctice here, I don't want to get sued if I make an embedded elevator program, someone farts in an elevator and some old lady gets asphyxia and they sue the ass off the elevator company
Cheers, Hank W.
