Repeat after me please:

Nuapurista kuulu se polokan tahti
Jalakani pohjii kutkutti
Ievan äiti se tyttöösä vahti
Vaan kyllähän Ieva sen jutkutti

Sillä ei meitä sillon kiellot haittaa
Kun myö tanssimme laiasta laitaan
Salivili hipput tupput tapputa
Äppyt tipput hilijalleen

Ievan suu oli vehnääsellä ko
Immeiset onnee toevotti
Peä oli märkänä jookaisella
Ja viulu se vonku ja voevotti

Ei tätä poikoo märkyys haittaa
Silloin ko laskoo laiasta laitaan
Salivili hipput tupput tapputa
Äppyt tipput hilijalleen

Ievan äiti se kammarissa
Virsiä veisata huijjuutti
Kun tämä poika naapurissa
Ämmän tyttöä nuijuutti

Eikä tätä poikoo ämmät haittaa
Silloin ko laskoo laiasta laitaan
Salivili hipput tupput tapputa
Äppyt tipput hilijalleen

Hilipatihilipati hilipatihillaa
Hilipatihilipati hilipampaa
Jalitulijallaa talitulijallaa
Tilitalitilitali tilitantaa

Halitulijallaa tilitulitallaa
Tilitilitilitili tilitilitallaa
Halitulitilitali jallatijallan
Tilitalitalitali helilantaa

Rimpatirallaa ripirapirallaa
Rumpatiruppan ripiranpuu
Jäkkarittaa ripparilapalan
Tulitulilallan timirantuu

Järtsytsäppari dikkaridallan
Dikkaridillan ditstandullaa
Dipidapidallaa ruppatirupiran
Kurikankukka ja kilikankuu

Ärtsätsää ja ripidapidillabi
Ditstandillan dillandooaba
Dippattaa parippariiparipi
Ripiripidisten dillandoojaba

Dirlastillan deijadooadaba
Dabadabadabadaba duubjabuu
Padistandilla stillanduubadaga
Dagadagaduuduu deijadoo

Siellä oli lystiä soiton jäläkeen
Sain minä kerran sytkyyttee
Kottiin ko mäntii niin ämmä se riitelj
Ja Ieva jo alako nyyhkyytteek

Minä sanon Ievalle mitäpä se haittaa
Laskemma vielähi laiasta laitaan
Salivili hipput tupput tapputa
Äppyt tipput hilijalleen

Muorille sanoin jotta tukkee suusi
En ruppee sun terveyttäs takkoomaan
Terveenä piäset kun korjoot luusi
Ja määt siitä murjuus makkoomaan

Ei tätä poikoo hellyys haittaa
Ko akkoja uhkii laiasta laitaan
Salivili hipput tupput tapputa
Äppyt tipput hilijalleen

Sen minä sanon jotta purra pittää
Ei mua niin voan nielasta
Suat mennä ite vaikka lännestä ittään
Vaan minä en luovu Ievasta

Sillä ei tätä poikoo kainous haittaa
Silloin ko tanssii laiasta laitaan
Salivili hipput tupput tapputa
Äppyt tipput hilijalleen

You say as you write, and you write as you say.

Thats why Finns find foreigners funny. They write their names with way too many letters in the wrong order without consonants - and then they don't recognize themselves when you say the name "proper" If you want to be called "siskovits" - don't write it Zscyskowisc, unless you want to be called Zzzz zzzz öööö.... tschsch...ööö... perkele...

I'd love to see a kareoke version of this part.
With the little dot jumping over the text.

You like consonants? You'll love Polish.
I once read an (somewhat humurous) article about Poland, and how all the invaders robbed it of everything, including vowels, leaving us only with cabbage fields and consonants.

Bah!
Vowels are for weaklings!

Ah, "Super Poland"?

I made it just because one Polish guy made a " Finland and Finns are lame and boring." page.

Well, as Finland is so bad, "Poland is SUPER"?

Poland capitulated in 10 days. I lost 2 servers for traffic but it was worth it

It was all in The Register

It was you?
Dear me, the world is just too small.

Feel no shame, anyone that doesn't have his head stuck deeply up his behind will have a good laugh out of it.
I also liked that beside the random humor there are some historical facts, so if anything I felt kinda flattered that you spent some time on google doing the research.

Also thanks for lining to the cached page that started it all.
When I first saw your page I was wondering what could've triggered this.

Creepy. Just after I listened it (yet another time) "Tänään Otsikoissa" (TV program) started to talk about it and how it has fastly spread all over the world.

I just can't understand why people still say that Turku dialect is horrible when compared to this

Postby KallioFan » Sat Oct 06, 2007 12:08 am

I love that song :D!
Unfortunately I loved it so much that I learnt it and made a stupid video with my lovely Apple Mac. Sadly, when I learnt it the lyrics said 'Levan' rather than 'Ievan' so that's a little bit @#$% up.

Please laugh at me and tell me what an idiot I am, it's for my own good :)

That's almost my dialect :)

Though I think this song must be from Savo... I'm from North Karelia.
