How about how many in Vaasa? Friends keep telling me I am the only Australian in Vaasa. I don't believe that as I saw a statistic from 2003 saying that there was 83 people with English as their mother tongue in Vaasa, so at least a few more should be Australian. Any ideas where I can get details?

Any Aussies living in Western Finland? And do you know where to get Vegemite?? or VB?? hahaha...

You can get Fosters at the local supermarket. As for Vegemite, sorry! Marmite sells though at our local foreign food store in Vaasa, along side the Milo and Horlicks.

Where abouts in Sydney are you from? I'm from the Blue Mountains.

It was available in Behnford's in Hki, the link is a Wikipedia page, but their official site is down.

Hi,

I am from the Northern Beaches, Collaroy Plateau. I am heading to Helsinki next week for a few days, going to check out the Aussie bar while I'm there. I heard you can get Coopers there, I cannot wait! Has anyone been there, what is it like? Any Aussies in Helsinki, let me know!
By the way, I am going to get a personal supply of Vegemite sent over soon....

ive not found a place that sells marmite/vegimite

so i get my parents to send it over and bring it over when they come to stay

got a full jar still in the cupboard and half a one in the fridge

Re: Vegemite. As a friend of Marmite I often visit Behnford's for this purpose. They do also sell Vegemite and I've heard that supply channels should be sorted (think they've had some probs with deliveries?) and more stuff appearing more frequently.
