I think on that kind of income you'd be trawlling kalliodaive wrote:ajdias wrote: 255 EUR/m seems to be the standard for this type of job.. isn't it too little for someone living in Finland?
Oh I getcha,
1 beer in pub @ 4.5e x 30 days = 135e
1 box of ciggies @ 4e x 30 days = 120e
Grand total = 255e
eek, now how do I get home from the pub!
for the cheapest beer not paying 4.50 in the centre.

I walked down hämentie last week and saw someone shooting up... never saw exactly something as evident in the 1970's when my sister lived on pengerkatu nor when I went to high school there in 1980's... (the fine arts one, not the theatrical one despite my clown image)

I wasn't knocking kallio, I've been out drinking there on many occasions.Claython wrote:I know everyone gives Kallio a bad rap, but we actually live there and there are two or three nice pubs that sell cheap beer, and aren't full of the usual riffraff you find knocking around Kallio.
I was just suggesting that on that kind of income, you'd spend more nights
out in Kallio.
