from seville to punkaharju

Post by skazul » Wed Dec 20, 2006 2:56 am

Hi!!

I’m a spanish girl. Today have reported to me that I have obtained a scolarship in Punkaharju but the economic amount of the scholarship is only 500 monthly Euros (free of taxes) and I don’t know if it’s enough ¿¿What do you think?? How much money cost an apartament in Punkaharju?? And food??

I’ll be very grateful if you could give some advise for the weather becouse I live in a city where 47ºC are reached in summer…(we are not accustomed to the cold)

Thank you for the help and pardon for my english

'HOAS isn't going to help much with Punkaharju'

I thought it might give her some idea about 'student life' in Finland. But you're right I should have mentioned this fact, lazy frank.

I already finish the career, it is a scholarship to work of practice for five month at the Finnish forest research institute (metla).

I'm worried by the housing ....... i've a little time to look for it and a little money : (

Ask if Metla can help you. They should, they cannot think that you find a place to stay just like that. BTW, Punkaharju is lovely. You can survive with 500 € per month if the rent is low. There is not much where you can spend money except food.
