International Law in Tampere

Post by Unia » Wed Jul 02, 2008 6:03 pm

Hello!
I know that there is an university where you can study International Law in Tampere, in English.
Unfortunately I don't know the name or any way to find out more, so could anyone find a link or something for me?
Also, are there any other universities where you can study Law in English (not neccesarily International Law) in any other cities?
Kiitos in advance.

Apart from the Tampere University of Technology, there's only one university in Tampere (quixotically named "University of Tampere" - very hard to Google that) - their Faculty of Economics and Administration has a Department of Law.

Other universities - for degree programmes in English, see the database here http://www.studyinfinland.fi and also http://www.universityadmissions.fi

So if you are too stupid to find out the basic information, what makes this illusion that you will get to study in a school the average graduate after taking a prep course has to apply 2,45 times to get into?

Jesus is the world full of idiots coming for free education? Jebus on Dinosaurus, implement the fees, I am fed up with these retards.

Thank you Sammy.

@Hank W: Before you start to speculate on how stupid I am or why I want to go there, just think a bit ok?
First of all I am NOT going because of the free education, there are plenty free universities where I live.
I want to go there because I want TO MOVE to Finland eventually.
And as far as I know, the purpose of this forum is to get information, so why should I spend ages trying to find an information when there are enough nice people here who know the answer? Besides I am not in a hurry, I have ages left until I have to apply and enough time to find out whatever I need to.
if I don't get to study there, it's my problem, so stop calling me a "retard" before knowing anything about me, thank you.

True. So why do people insist on not reading any of the stickies that are full of info and should answer 90% of any questions.
Most of the rest can be answered by performing a simple search of previous threads on the forum.

Sorry, but you are person nr. 500 this month asking the same questions and the "retard" comment most likely alludes to your inability to look for the info yourself before starting a thread of your own.

Actually I did search.
IMO it's better to ask someone who knows than google and find incorrect information, and I also asked because it would have been easier to get some comments or opinions from the person who replied, which wouldn't have been in the FAQs.
I also use lots of forums where the same questions are asked over and over again, but nobody calls those people retards. My question was answered, so I think that comment was nothing but hostile and irrelevant.
Sorry for wasting some people's time with stupid questions...

Why don't you think yourself?

It doesn't take ages... except of course if you're a lazy retard.

I googled on "Tampere" + "university" and found all the info in the first few links.
The official sites! Answers here are personal views and often not completely correct.
and I also asked because it would have been easier to get some comments or opinions from the person who replied,
Then specifically ask for them (after you found the uni)
It just gives me the impression of a lazy uninterested person.
