I'm not sure how I came across this site, so apologies if it was referred to by . but I find this site really helpful with the pronounciation:-

It's a good site. I had a class with the woman who wrote the text for the uni course and the online bits and quizzes were really helpful.

Another book and CD I'm really fond of is "Mita Kuuluu?" which is terrific for the pronunciation and particularly duration. It's published by Finn Lectura so I'm sure you can get it online from them.

Eashton,
When I wenbt to http://www.amazon.com and put in the book title "Mita Kuuluu" I ended up looking at a series of books published by Berlitz called "Scandinavian." Can you give me an ISBN number?

Paul, I don't think its on Amazon. Anyhow, I think I owe you some, so I can pick up the book & CD from them and send it over. Just email me your snailmail address (once again, yes I know).
Cheers, Hank W.
