Avon Breast Cancer Walk 5.10.08

Avon and Pink Ribbon are hosting a walk for breast cancer research on Sunday, 5 October. The participation fee is €20. There will be gifts for everyone and lots of prizes, including one for the largest group. If you are interested, please PM me.

Sounds like a great event , just had the bad news that a member of my family has breast cancer , and she is only 25 years old and has a big wedding planned in a couple of months time, I feel so sorry to her

My father had 2 types of cancer. I am so feared about cancer. I want to know what types of cancer are genetic and do both of your parents have to carry it for you to get it or does only one need to? Is it necessary to have chemotherapy for all types of cancer or is there something that doesn't require it? Any helpful comments would be greatly welcome.
