How does Sami sound?

Yea well.. I'm a normal fellow in Finland who can speak both estonian and finnish. When I talk estonian with my parents, my friends always tell me it sounds like finnish which they can't understand, and that it is also annoying because they get the feeling of understanding it, but they can't.
Now, I've been listening to this rapper Amoc, who raps in Inari Sami. He has been getting pretty much attention in newspapers lately.

It is interesting to think that finnish and sami split up around 3000-4000 years ago. When I listen to this song, it sounds familiar, but I can understand nothing from it, except some few swear words.

Now a question for those, who don't know finnish at all, does sami sound like finnish to you? I just wanna know how it sounds to foreigners

Also, if you have ever heard estonian, how does it sound?
