Rosetta Stone for Finnish
Rosetta Stone for Finnish
...does not exist. Instead of complaining of why there are dozens of other useless languages (to me) instead of Finnish, perhaps I could ask what other really, really good software programs are out there?
High quality, high production, and (hopefully not too) high cost preferred.

Download free Finnish software :

I don´t know if it is good or not but why not try it. It´s free !

Casey in New York knows how to put a "useless" language to use :
http://www.meetup.com/The-NYC-Finnish-Meetup-Group
"Keep in mind that the purpose of this group doesn't always have to be about language learning as I am quite a fan of random adventures for no apparent reason."
The New York City Finnish Group is not only about learning Finnish, it is also about getting to know new people and having a good time. I suspect that the latter is much more important than the former and I see nothing wrong in that.
The reason why I mention this group is that you ( Mikie ) give your location as "New York/Helsinki".

Hey thanks for the links. I suppose I never really updated my location on here, as I now am a semi-permanent fixture in downtown Helsinki. That group would've been great to know about 2yrs ago.

Re: Rosetta Stone for Finnish
You can request Finnish for Rosetta stone on their website, I have. But Rosetta stone is £150 so it is a big investment.
Re: Rosetta Stone for Finnish
Another vote of BYKI
However I would love if Rosetta Stone came out as I have only heard good things about it, apart from the price.
However I mailed Rosetta Stone a few months ago and there wasn't any plans to release a Finnish language course

Re: Rosetta Stone for Finnish
In stockmann they sell a memory stick called Eurotalk. It's a bit pricy (about 45€) for what it is and a bit basic but might help you for starters
Other wise there are the Teach yourself books who do Finnish, they come with a book and CD
