I found
a Finnish discussion thread with someone looking for the same stuff... but it seems corn syrup is not readily available in Finland. Some suggestions for suitable alternatives are offered in that thread, though.

Behnford's does carry the light syrup, they only had two last week or two ago when I bought them,
pricey at 6.90 per pint. The person at the counter said they don't get it very often, so calling
them would increase the speed at which they restock. Corn syrup is glucose, absolutely fantastic
candy insurance for some types of candy. My spouse has a different word for glucose syrup and says
some place in Kamppi and Itäkeskus sells it. But since I haven't confirmed anything yet, I have
no comment.

Ummm.. theres cane syrup out... glukoosisiirappi is the finnish word, and usually the syrup is mixed stuff of glukoosi-fruktoosisiirappi.

One can make glucose & fructose from sucrose (table sugar) by adding acid, say lemon juice or cream of tartar,
(but it is not the same for candy making,) a lot of old recipes might call that solution mix simple sugar. Spouse
told me glucose is tärkkelyssiirappi, don't know if that's correct or not.
