I am looking for a good place for a dinner with my wife in Helsinki. Ideally, it wouldn't be too expensive (i.e about 15-20€ per plate) and the food would be made in house. That's an important criteria because I hate when they serve straight from a can!
We know that each restaurant we enter, we experience a lot of things. I'd love to suggest the restaurant Nokka Helsinki. Reveiesw show that this sis a very good restaurant of every traveler.

Nice 'atmosphere' - but previous experience says it's a good idea to bring your own picnic basket along
----------- Seems hasn't changed
Here's a review from this past Saturday on eat.fi:
Pretty much guaranteed quality are the silakat and wieninleike - don't expect low calorie food - the count pretty high on both - but basically good stuff.
You even get points on your S-bonus card. One of the few restaurants that S-Group took over that it didn't turn into pretty much 'nothing special.'
