Hi,

My question is bit different!

I am quite sure that I will get Scholarship for my PhD at Aalto University. However my PhD application is under process with University :). But my question is that if I will get scholarship then also should I need to show money (€6000,-/year) for me for applying Resident Permit for Finland. If yes then how much additional amount for dependent like my son will be with me he is now 2.5 years old?

Thanks

With kind regards

Did you check the income requirement table at migri.fi?

Hi Upphew,

Thanks for your information, but unfortunately they did't give any information for the student with Scholarship. Like if you got scholarship around 27k euro per year then also need to show this amount like euro 6000/year for resident permit?

Thanks again.

did you read the Student pages on migri.fi?!
since you're a student you need 500 euros a month, if your scholarship covers that. Then it's fine.
In the Student RP application you have to choose your means of support, instead of choosing personal, just choose sponsor or something like that.
