That's a typical misconception, unfortunately.
Sure, there are self-proclaimed pro-photographers who haven't a clue what they're doing, but they exist also in the film circle.

I'm the Deputy President of JCI Cosmopolis, an English speaking chapter of Junior Chamber International in Helsinki. Every second Wednesday of the month we hold a networking event for expats and entrepreneurs in the Helsinki region at A21 Cocktail lounge starting at 1800 - Annankatu 21.
