Northern lights probable in 6.3 19-21

In finnish news they tell that there was big "eruption" and tonight 19-21 and around midnigh it is probable that there is northern lights even in southern finland.
They talk about Lahti, it was "lahti area local news", but it doesnt cost anything to check sky even souther :)

But remember...if you really want to see an aurora, you are almost certainly going to be disappointed... :wink:

They are capricious...you have to take what you get. And I would think the further south you are the chances are much greater that you will get a rather faint display. But if you get lucky....well, it is a dramatic and spellbinding experience. I've seen auroras in Canada a few times in my life...and only once was it dramatic....But, boy-o-boy, IT WAS DRAMATIC... Unforgettable!!
