I don't think there is any regulation about business partner or am I wrong? I can place an ad looking for a business partner who is extremely rich, generous and must be mentally retarted. I don't think I am discriminating against any poor or mentally healthy people with that ad or do I?

It is good that those discriminations are noted and warned against. I guess the OP had no discrimination in mind, but she had just a preference.
But when preferences become fixed ideas you end up with situations that for instance qualified foreigners have less chances of a job than Finns.

Yup, I know that Onkko is right but let's face the truth... she is just saving time and trouble for others than the girl with good humor etc that she prefers.

She could write a general ad and everyone who is interested will be sending her an email for nothing. It will not even be looked at. For me I don't care how the ad is written, the law or regulation are just a public cover. Say some racist boss is looking for an employee who is a finn born, how in the hell any law or regulation can make him hire other than the finn? After all it's just about the cover of the surface for publicity. As a non-finn, heck-hell-no-way I want to work for him anyway.

In reality, you can probably hire exactly the person you want based on all kinds of explanations: your own opinion of how energetic they seem, how closely their experience matches your work, whether they seem to know what you mean or want before you even say it, whether you think they have a positive attitude, and many other explanations of what makes you think someone will be the best person for the job. There are all sorts of reasons that nobody can challenge.

It's fine to describe yourself, and that may help attract people like you. But if you advertise asking for a woman or a young person or another Estonian and someone else applies and you don't choose them, or especially if you tell them you found someone younger or female or Estonian, they could file a complaint that would be a major inconvenience and expense to defend against. You don't need that kind of bother in your life. Doesn't matter whether anyone thinks the law is good or bad, smart or stupid. What matters is the bother that can happen if you ignore it.

I hope you find exactly who you need and have a good time making a bunch of money together. Thanks to onkko, you are now a little bit wiser about what to say while looking for them.

And P.S. Sometimes in life we find something better than we were looking for if we're not too strict about defining it ahead of time.
