Really? So you do not have actual, valid excuse to discriminate males?
Are you aware that Finland has very strict equality laws. You cannot discriminate sex of applicants without VALID reason.
Customers being females is not most likely valid, as his duties would only include household chores.

How will you have money to pay the housekeeper if you spend it all on paying fines for breaking the law?

Breaking the law? What laws?
Females are preferred because we already have a male gardener and a few male drivers. It would be fair if the cleaner is female. Besides, the clients do not a male in the house. And that's no ones business.

In the end, one can choose the most suitable candidate according to preferred criteria. You are, however, breaking the law by excluding males from your list of possible candidates without specifying the skills they should need.

*Yawn* I'm gonna go get coffee and not let people on the internet lure me into trolling. Too easy.

Massive yawn. The offer doesn't even stand anymore and people are still going on about it. If you are on FF because you are bored then I suggest you look at that below.

It's not just about your job announcement, illegal or not. I think making the readers of the Jobs and Entrepreneurship subforum aware of Finnish discrimination legislation is a worthy goal in and of itself.

How would you feel about announcements (or signs at the entrance to your local shop) that said "no women", "no blacks" or "no foreigners"?
